The air is crisp, leaves are falling, and Thanksgiving is just weeks away. Now is the time to start on your napkin holders for your holiday dinner table.

What you’ll need:

  • Large silk flowers
  • Scissors
  • Brown, red and orange construction paper
  • Non-toxic glue or glue gun
  • Googly eyes or black marker (for eyes)
  • Toilet paper roll

Directions:

With the brown construction paper, cut a body for the turkey. With the red construction paper, cut a “wattle” that hangs under the beak. With the orange construction paper, cut some feet and a beak for the turkey.

Glue the beak, eyes, “wattle” and feet on the turkey. (If using a black marker, draw the eyes on the turkey.)

Cut the flower in half. Glue the half flower to the back of the turkey.

Cut one inch off the toilet paper roll. Glue the turkey and flower to the one-inch portion of the toilet paper roll.

Make as many napkin holders as there are guests for your dinner party. Happy Thanksgiving!!
